Thanks for my wife's planning, the trip was a memorable. She also drove (most of the time) to Margaret River because I'm better in navigation :P (We have the GPS installed in the car but the map was not as good as we got from the tourism office). It seems we made a great team with this perfect roles collaboration for outskirt trip. :)

Nice !! For how many days did you spend on outskirt area?
only day trip but each day different area. The farest we went is the Margaret River which took around 4 hours drive.
11 places.... did you spend 11 days then ?? (wine cruise, Araluen garden, Pinnacles, Chocolate factory, Macnuts, Yahava coffee, Fremantle town, Kalamandu market, Busselton Jetty, Cape Lavender and Olive Oil Factory)
I'm a bit stupid about Australia :P
We didn't spend one day for each location. Some day we just go for shopping only and some day we go multiple places in one day.
